The location is perfect, right in the historic centre. The bathroom is a little too small, though, which made it somewhat uncomfortable.

Parking isn’t available in the old town, so after parking the car you’ll need to walk 5 to 10 minutes or hire a service to bring your bags in. That wasn’t a problem for us, though, since the stay was magnificent. Gianni welcomed us warmly and gave us really good tips for restaurants, beaches and bars.

The location was excellent, and we really liked the room. The bedding let it down, though. The spring mattresses were poor, and when one of them moved, the other bounced too.

The little details and how clean everything was really stood out to us, a definite 10/10. Gianni was friendly and always ready to help, too. The suite is tucked into the heart of Monopoli's historic center, with lots of restaurants just a few steps away, but inside it was peaceful and quiet. We’d happily come back for another little escape from the world.
