We wished we'd booked a longer stay and are already looking forward to coming back. The Palazzo was immaculate, from the moment we entered the building, and the rooms were tastefully furnished and spotless. Staff made us feel welcome and were helpful. Breakfast was sumptuous, the best we've had in Italy. It's also a great base for exploring beautiful Monopoli. Stay here!

The location is great and the building is beautiful, but several things went wrong. When we arrived, the bathroom wasn't very clean. The person handling check-in left two minutes after we entered the room, so we had to contact reception on their personal WhatsApp. Since it was Ferragosto, nobody could come clean it. The A/C was too weak to cool the room, and the bed was average. If you arrive late for breakfast, almost nothing is left and they don't refill it. It wasn't terrible, but this was our only stay in Puglia that wasn't good or great. For a property showing 5 stars, I'd expect a lot more.

A great place for exploring downtown Monopoli, close to the harbor, restaurants and local sights. The surroundings were sparkling clean, and breakfast had wonderful local delicacies. The friendly staff made us feel at home.

We came to monopoli for our wedding, which felt like a fairytale and had the whole town talking, but this hotel's service has ruined the experience. Our room wasn't made up on two consecutive days, and the only apology was that the cleaner was busy. Now it's 2.04am and we're locked out, with nobody at reception and no one answering the phone. We have to leave monopoli early in the morning for a long drive, so tonight is ruined and we'll be exhausted tomorrow too. I'm seriously disgusted by this lack of service. Think three times before booking here.

Excellent! The rooms are beautiful, the people friendly, the service great and breakfast awesome. It can be a little hard to find the first time, but once you've found it, you'll come back.
