There was no toilet paper in our rooms, and we won't be coming back. The buildings are old and have very steep stairs. I understand that's not the owner's fault, but guests should be told about it.

A computer error left us pleased at first because we'd booked the room at a very attractive rate. Ten minutes later, we got a very unpleasant message threatening us with a fine if we sent it a second time, even though we'd sent it twice within two minutes. It was treated as if the error were our fault. We canceled the reservation, of course. That gives you an idea of the welcome.

The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and thorough in explaining everything. The place is welcoming and clean, carefully maintained, and easy to reach in a central location. Highly recommended!
