We spent four lovely nights in Puglia at Villa Sardella. It’s a very cute, private villa, easy to reach by car and just a short drive from Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms felt cozy and cute. My personal highlight was the little family of turtles living in the garden!

The pool area was a real highlight, a lovely place to relax during the day and enjoy the peaceful setting and great breakfast. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable, and both the owner and staff were so kind, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sardella and would absolutely recommend it. Can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Sardella. It’s a cozy retreat away from the crowds, with both neighboring cities you’d want to visit very close by. The staff were accommodating and always present. Our main drawback was sharing the intimate property with a young family of five in the room next to us. They were quite loud every day and more or less took over the pool. That isn’t the villa’s fault, but allowing five people in one room in such a small villa could be a problem for other guests. Whether you get peace and quiet really depends on who else is staying there. If you want total serenity, you may need to look for an adults-only place.

Villa Sardella was a wonderful way to finish our honeymoon in Italy. They kindly upgraded us to a suite, and the room was perfect. We had a lovely time by the pool and exploring the towns around Puglia, and the boat trip in Monopoli with Nino was so much fun. Marilia, Francesco and the whole team went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Puglia!
