Some parts were fine, but the stay ended very badly. The hotel is huge and seemed empty, with just three cars in the lot, presumably staff cars, and only us at breakfast. We checked out on time and asked the receptionist if we could go buy a souvenir in town, then come back to use the pool before heading to the airport in the early afternoon. She called her manager, who said, “No, only until 1pm.” That didn’t work for us because the tourist shops close at 1, so we had to shop first. As far as I could tell, we were the only two guests, and the pool was completely empty. We weren’t given an explanation, and the decision made no sense to us. We ended up spending our last day in Sicily at the airport because we didn’t want to leave our suitcases unattended in the car. I understand now why so many reviews of this hotel are bad. They clearly don’t care about what guests need. Our other hotel stays were all much better. Sicilians can do much better, so avoid this hotel!

We really enjoyed staying here. Breakfast could be better, but Daniel made the experience wonderful. He was welcoming and friendly every time we saw him. Thank you, Daniel!

My wife and I stayed for about five days in November 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The room and food were great, and the staff were fantastic, so helpful and accommodating. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a great time, and they succeeded. We’d definitely recommend the resort. If we visit Sicily again, there’s no question we’d stay here.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool was nice, but we were glad it was only a one-night stay. There were just 20 guests during high season. Breakfast was very sparse, and we had to ask for everything individually. The rooms were very basic and the air conditioning was weak. There were no showers at this pool, only on another floor, or at the other pool about 400 m away.

Awful experience. My teenage sister and I stayed one night and were woken by construction noise at 6am. The door lock didn’t work, so we didn’t feel safe there. It was the worst hotel ever, and they’re refusing to refund the money they agreed to return. Absolute scam, avoid! I spent £2700 expecting a luxury experience, and I haven’t had any money refunded.
