The service was quick, and the staff were really kind and attentive. We stumbled across this place while passing through Monselice, and liked it enough to mark it down for a spring return. It has a lovely, welcoming feel, and the food tastes like proper home cooking. Even the cake reminded me of something from my grandma's kitchen. The radicchio and sausage first course was a hit, and my husband loved his bigoli with duck. We left thinking of it as a genuine Sunday lunch at grandma's.

Lucia, Nicola, and Giacomo were so kind and helpful. We had a few peaceful days in the countryside, with a lovely garden and complete quiet. Our room was cozy, and breakfast was excellent, especially Lucia's homemade desserts. The menu followed what was growing in the fields, asparagus in our case, and everything I tried was delicious. The price felt fair too. Highly recommended.

The curly-haired waitress with glasses was lovely and kept smiling, and the location was nice. The meal itself was a letdown. We booked for Sunday lunch and ordered fettuccine with radicchio and sausage, but there was hardly any sausage. The waitress said she'd check with the kitchen, then nobody explained anything. We weren't looking for a big discussion, but that was disappointing. For the next course we got cooked vegetables, though we'd have preferred baked potatoes, which weren't on the menu, plus mixed grill. The pepper cap must have opened up, because it was overpoweringly strong, and the ribs and bacon were completely burnt. We finished with zuppa inglese, which I'd never seen made with sponge cake, and it barely seemed like zuppa inglese at all. We skipped coffee rather than risk another surprise. The service and setting earn some credit, but not enough. We won't be back.

A really enjoyable lunch, with great service and flavors. The portions were the one small disappointment. My fettuccine with duck ragù was barely visible on the plate, and the little ball of ragù couldn't cover the already scant pasta. Still giving it five stars. Nicely done!
