My boyfriend and I had a great stay at this bed and breakfast. The owners are lovely and do everything they can to make you comfortable. Our bedroom was big and bright, and we could cook in the kitchenette, have coffee on the balcony, or relax on the sofa. It’s well placed for getting around, with the metro within walking distance, plenty of pizzerias nearby, and a supermarket close by. A good place to stay!

Monserrato is a small town, but it has the basics nearby, including bars, little shops, pizzerias, and shopping centers. The B&B is conveniently placed for visiting Cagliari and the main attractions. Poetto beach and the historic center are only a few minutes away. The spacious, comfortable rooms look just like the photos. The owners were kind and welcoming, and gave us detailed information about places to see in southern Sardinia.

Parking was a real struggle, and the house felt untidy. There was hair in the bathtub, which also seemed quite worn. We couldn’t make coffee: a capsule was stuck in the machine and the used pod drawer hadn’t been emptied. There were used toilet paper rolls in the cabinet too. Sorry, but we won’t be back. The room did have a new TV and air conditioning, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. Still, the noise made it impossible for me to sleep. The room faces a busy main road, with cars and buses passing and sirens going off, especially at night. The windows looked like they were from the 1980s and really need replacing to reduce the noise, at least somewhat.

We were there for seven nights and had a wonderful time. Francesco was very helpful, and the room was spacious, with air conditioning and a TV. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. If we come back to southern Sardinia, we’d happily stay here again.
