We had breakfast indoors each morning, with a stunning view across the Tuscan hills, and Isabella made it so good every time. Our first welcome at Casa Della Madonna was lovely too: Gianlucca greeted us with his wife Isabelle and Mira the dog, then offered us a glass of wine. Later, we spent time talking with Gianlucca by the pool as the sun set. He’s such a sincere, warm man with so much wisdom. It was an incredible stay, and we won’t forget it. We’ll definitely return one day.

Gianluca and Izabella made us feel right at home, and the pool area was a lovely place to unwind after a day out. The house is a charming base in the heart of Tuscany. In about an hour by car, you can reach Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, and smaller gems like San Gimignano and Volterra, with plenty more to see. Recommended.

Leaving Casa della Madonna was so hard. We waved goodbye to Gianluca and Isabella, got into the car, and then just sat there for ages thinking about the stay and trying not to cry. Be warned, this place gets under your skin. Even a few days can make it hard to go. I could say so much about the hosts, the scenery, and the atmosphere, but words don’t really capture how wonderful it was. Gianluca e Isabella - siete meravigliosi!! Non vediamo l'ora di tornare! È stato un grande piacere di conoscervi. Tanti baci a Mira e auguri di buona salute!
