La Fiaba At Belmonte

We’re already looking forward to our next visit. This summer was our fourth stay at Belmonte Vacanze, and we keep returning because it’s so easy to unwind here. The peaceful setting in the Tuscan countryside feels safe and welcoming, with those rolling hill views that never get old. The pool is always clean and looks out over the hills. We also love renting the well-maintained bikes and exploring the many scenic cycling routes nearby. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, and there are plenty of other good places to eat in nearby towns, all an easy drive away. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning, which was a real bonus in summer. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make guests feel at home. A special thanks to Elisa and Lauro for their warm hospitality and kindness.

The pool and restaurant have fantastic views, and Belmonte Vacanze is beautiful and very well maintained. We had a lovely holiday, and the rooms worked well for our family of four. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating from the moment they welcomed us. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped, though. We missed proper knives, and a small toaster and espresso maker would have been nice for breakfast at home. You also need to drive everywhere, and the nearest supermarket isn’t very big. Still, it was a fantastic stay and I’d highly recommend it.

What stood out to us was how friendly and helpful all the staff were, along with the property’s thoughtful environmental approach, including PV, water treatment, and sustainable olive cultivation. We’d gladly come back and recommend it to friends. There’s lots for all ages to do: a big playground, a large pool with plenty of sun loungers, soccer, tennis and volleyball courts, table tennis, a barbecue area, and horse riding. The restaurant serves very tasty food, and breakfast is good by Italian standards, though another coffee machine would help with the occasional long wait. The agriturismo sits in beautiful countryside, well placed for trips to Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca, and Florence, all about 30-60 minutes away by car. It’s especially family-friendly.

The apartments were spotless, roomy, and had great views. Even my Italian mother would have been impressed by how clean everything was. The staff were fantastic too, very friendly and happy to help with recommendations for the area. We had a great stay with my wife and our two young children. The price was fair, and there were plenty of nice extras: a great pool, playground, bike rentals, animals, and a restaurant. Belmonte is right among the picturesque rolling hills of Tuscany. We appreciated the hospitality and highly recommend staying here.
