UNAHOTELS Palazzo Mannaioni Toscana

It was a sweet surprise to get a breakfast goodie bag when we had to leave early in the morning. The staff at reception, breakfast, and housekeeping were all friendly, helpful, and service minded. They were kind to us, and our dog felt comfortable too. Our room was very hot in August, but after they moved us, we were happy with our pretty Tuscan room. Thanks again for sorting that out. Montaione is a beautiful Italian town where we got a glimpse of real Italian life. Greetings from Germany! :)

We were lucky to get the suite in the newer part of this lovely hotel. It was huge. The breakfast buffet had everything you'd expect, including freshly made coffee. We still miss Roberta's cappuccinos in the morning at home! The pool was a welcome way to cool off on hot summer days, though the local pigeons seemed to use it for a drink too. Whether that's a feature or a nuisance is up to you. It's a village in a central spot, with views over the countryside, and a great base for exploring Tuscany. Covered parking includes two Tesla charging points.

I’m years late writing this, but seeing photos from our trip to Montaione brought back how lovely this hotel was. It was the last stop on our three-week trip, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to spend four days relaxing by the pool, walking around the tiny town, and driving into the countryside for dinner. We also had some great pizza from the local convenience store. My husband and I got engaged by the town fountain, which made the visit even more special. The staff were lovely and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and it had a nice mix of old and new. It’s in a wonderfully peaceful area, just right if you want to relax. I don’t know how much may have changed over the years, but I’d recommend this hotel to friends heading that way.

Tuscany is wonderful, and the place itself is beautiful with friendly staff. Still, we were disappointed to be put in the old building after booking the new one. Breakfast was very disappointing. The restaurant serves delicious food made with fresh products, though it's a little expensive.
