Villa Amadeo feels like a Garden of Eden. Cathrin and Werner are wonderful hosts and especially helpful advisors for first-time visitors to Tuscany like we were. We’d give it six stars if we could, and we’ll be back. ❤️

We were six couples, and Villa Amadeo worked really well for a self-catering holiday. The rooms are excellent and the kitchen is very well equipped. There's plenty of room in the pool for all ages, and the garden is beautifully landscaped, a lovely place to relax. The Tuscan view is simply stunning. Shops are within walking distance, and you can order breakfast pastries the day before. In autumn, guests can even take part in the olive harvest if they like. There's a charging station for electric cars, covered parking for cars, motorcycles, or bicycles, and a stairlift too.

The kitchen had everything I could possibly need, more than any vacation apartment I've stayed in before. The rooms were charming, and the owners were always happy to help or offer advice. A wonderful stay.

The hosts had great restaurant suggestions, and San Gimignano makes an appealing nearby outing. Villa Amadeo sits among olive trees, and the owners have put so much care into turning the Tuscan house into a special place. The pool is huge, with a lovely lawn around it, and there's a vegetable garden guests can pick from, plus a real Italian pizza oven. We visited during a week when individual rooms could be booked. Usually, the six-room house is rented to larger groups, such as people attending workshops or seminars. It has a comfortable shared area with a large kitchen. Villa Amadeo is well worth a visit.
