Carmen’s kindness made a quiet, scenic stay in the Italian hills feel really special. She was so much fun to be around, looked after us wonderfully, and surprised us with treats from the charming local towns. The house was immaculate and beautifully maintained, and the scenery was breathtaking day after day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and would highly recommend it to anyone after a peaceful getaway.

My family came from France to visit Italy, and we spent 4 days in Carmela's beautiful villa, Farfalle villa. The photos were lovely, but seeing it in person was even better. Carmela was a wonderful host, and the Tuscan views were stunning. It’s an ideal base for exploring the region and unwinding afterward. Highly recommend!

Carmela made us feel welcome despite our limited Italian, and the welcome pack was much appreciated after the journey. It had milk, water, beer, fruit, tomatoes from her garden, and breakfast pastries. We stayed in Rondini, a first floor apartment in a farmhouse on a hill. From the terrace, the views were amazing morning, noon, and at sunset, with a real feeling of peace and tranquility. The apartments are well placed for trips to Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, and Siena. We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

We only stayed a day while on vacation, but it was a beautiful place. The host was gracious, welcoming, and helpful, and the home was beautifully done. There’s lots of space and privacy on the property, with great views. Montalcino, Montepelciano, Pienza, and other cute towns are close enough for short drives.
