The host was forthcoming, and the home was spotless. It's simple but spacious, with a magnificent garden and a stunning view.

The garden was the highlight for us. We spent three days in this lovely little house, sitting in the pergola's shade during the day and watching the stars above the garden at night, with fireflies all around. Elena was kind and helpful, and made sure the clean house had everything we needed, even a potato peeler. The furnishings are dated, and there isn't a TV, but the view is right outside the window.
