The mixed grill felt rather meager to me, though the steak we had afterward was good, if only lightly seasoned. I was there for a communion lunch and came away disappointed with the food overall. The Tuscan appetizer selection was decent: the cured meats tasted good, even if there weren't many kinds, and most of the bruschettas were fine apart from the tomato ones, which had no seasoning. The first courses were the real problem. The tagliatelle were watery from being drained badly, and the meat sauce was poor, too scant and not rich or juicy enough, leaving the dish disjointed and less tasty. The potato tortelli with tomato sauce were impossible to eat for me because the filling had so much nutmeg that it drowned out everything else. With a large group at lunch, I don't think the managers handled things well.

With just four rooms, it's a small, very peaceful place. The rooms are all lovely, clean, and have the basics you need, and the food was excellent for the price. The educational farm felt limited, since you can only feed the goats and the horse. Still, it's far from the crowds and suits anyone looking for a rest and a change of scenery.

We had a lovely family visit. The kids were thrilled by the animals at the farm and the farmer's lessons. Nature, food, lodging, and hospitality all felt genuine, simple, and wonderful, with excellent value. It's not a grand hotel, and that's part of its charm. Thanks, and well done.

We found a relaxed family atmosphere and traditional food that never let us down, even though the cooking is simple. The place is modest, surrounded by a kind of tranquility you can't put a price on. It's also a great base for exploring the Tuscan hills. Thank you!!!

The owners are so warm and welcoming that staying here feels like visiting a friend. It's tucked away from the bustle and surrounded by greenery. There's plenty of good food: homemade Cinta Senese cured meats, traditional first courses, and Cinta Senese beef or steak. You can buy the cured meats too.
