Rivamare Residence

The sea and beaches are great, and the village is gorgeous, but Rivamare residence was a complete letdown. The photos are misleading, and I wouldn’t recommend it. We stayed for a week with friends, and the rooms were in a disgraceful state. They were dirty and smelled bad, there was no room cleaning, and the shower tray was clogged. The toilet was so bad I’d rather not describe it. Moving the bedside tables to reach the outlet revealed dust and hair, and the mattress covers had hair and stains from previous stays. There were large cracks in the ceiling, filthy walls, and mold and dirt on the air-conditioning filters. It was a hovel. The welcome was basically nonexistent. There was what seemed like a fake person on duty when we arrived and when we left. The listing mentioned a fitness area, but when I asked about it, I was told it had been removed after the previous owner passed away.

It’s about 250 meters from the beach, and I’d highly recommend it for a holiday in this area. The staff were friendly and always available. The property is a little older, but it’s very well maintained. The rooms are large, and the terrace in my case was especially lovely and spacious.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the property is beautiful and close to the sea. I had a good experience overall. The apartments could use some updating, though, and the bathroom layout could be better.

I had a really nice stay at the end of August. Everything was lovely, and the staff stood out for being attentive and helpful with what guests needed. I’d recommend it.
