For such a low price, it's a clean little hotel, though the rooms feel very dated. The shower's so cramped you can barely move.

Parking is plentiful, and the countryside around the inn is lovely, with ravines and trails for hiking. It’s only a few minutes from Casalecchio, and we used it as a base for visiting there and Bologna. The setting keeps you away from the chaos, and the price helps, as long as you’re not expecting luxury. It’s easy to miss the inn on Google, but once you’re out of the car you can see it’s attached to the restaurant. Check-in can only happen while the restaurant is open, though the hours are given when booking. The owner was really kind and helpful. Our room had everything we expected, it all worked, and we could see the countryside. Checkout was available at the stated time.

You get a real sense of authenticity in the simple, clean rooms and the traditional food, as well as in Marzia, one of the owners. It’s tucked away among the hills, with fresh air and the sound of the stream, far from the crowds and soulless “perfections.”

A sensible stop for a road trip. I was there in June 2023, and the owner made me feel very welcome. The price was reasonable too.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The place is nice and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the location is decent.
