Poggio Antico - Suites and Breakfast

Franziska made our stay especially memorable with her personal suggestions for places to visit, restaurants, and local hidden gems. She was warm and genuine, and we really appreciated her care. We spent five lovely days at Poggio Antico in early September, after our wedding at the end of August. Check-in came with a warm welcome and an unexpected room upgrade. The peaceful setting, well-kept grounds, and stylish rooms made it an ideal little escape. We'd happily return.

Franziska is what makes Poggio Antico feel so welcoming. She seems to know when guests want quiet and when they'd enjoy company, and brings people together in a way that feels natural. Her hospitality really touched us. The “Passione” rooms beneath the roof were a favorite: open gallery layouts, brick walls, a modern cozy sofa, a fireplace, a clean, practical bathroom, and air conditioning for summer. The house itself has a rustic feel and only a few charming rooms, with what you need. At the little breakfast house, you can get espresso and excellent wine throughout the day, with everything settled on trust at the end. The place is beautifully situated and full of character. It felt like a home away from home, where you could let your thoughts soften. Thank you, Franziska.

The pool, garden, and views were wonderful, and our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, too. Poggio Antico is lovingly cared for, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Thanks, dear Franziska, for being here in the Marche region. We're already looking forward to coming back.

Breakfast beneath the 800-year-old mulberry tree, with that sensational view from the hilltop, was divine. Franziska helped with everything from beaches and restaurants to showing us around, and the hospitality was there from beginning to end. We felt incredibly lucky to stay with Franziska and meet her whole family: her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, husband Hansjörg, and sisters Lisi and Martina. The rooms were stylish and had the latest technology, and wines from the estate's own Tenuta di Fra were available. Dear Franziska, thank you for everything. We'd love to return. The drive in is manageable even without four-wheel drive. :-) :-)
