The rooms are clean and adequate, and the price feels fair for a safe place to stay. The hosts are devoted followers of Saint Michael. Stay safe, fellow travelers, and spread the good news.

It’s directly across from the Sanctuary, with plenty of Norman-Lombard history packed into this small area. We came back after many years because we remembered the rooftop breakfast and its view over the old town. There are only a few hotels in the old quarter. The showers are much too small, but otherwise the place has what you need.

I love the view over the old cathedral and town rooftops, and the Santuario is right across the way. The owner is always ready to help with whatever you need. This is the hotel I keep coming back to in Monte Sant’Angelo.

The location is handy for the sanctuary, though you can’t get there by car. Budget more than €20 a day for outdoor parking. The bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are very steep. Lunch was poor, with too many long-life products. Manager Enzo came across as harsh with employees and not very friendly. For the price, the value was only average.
