Set in the hills about 10km from Citta di Castello, the castle is a great place for a holiday away from the tourist areas. It has self-contained units, a tennis court, and a swimming pool. It’s open June to September, and booking is necessary.
It’s my house, so of course I think it’s beautiful. This is a somewhat rustic farmhouse with no WiFi, but it has a giant pool, a lovely garden, a tennis court, and, if you’re good, fresh eggs. Each apartment is about 60 square meters, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, and at least one bathroom. It’s ideal for children. Città di Castello, a town of 40,000 people, is only 6 km away, with all the amenities you need and tons of restaurants and cafes. It’s a lively center in every season.
Like Troisi and Benigni in a new beginning, but without the pitfalls. Priceless.
At the top of the mountain, the house is completely undisturbed. Lovely place, and the pool is lovely too.
