The seating was uncomfortable, with bulky tables and bench seats that put diners very close together. At times we were practically touching backs with the person behind us. The room itself is large with a high ceiling and several dining areas, though we didn't see the upper floor. With the workers, mostly men, filling the place, it felt more like a local pub than a restaurant. We stopped at Towers for lunch and chose the buffet for its variety, without knowing the exact price. It was €9.50, plus a mandatory €2 bottle of water and a €1.50 service charge, so there was no option to eat without paying for water. There was a lot to choose from, but the food was disappointing, greasy and heavy, and left me feeling full for hours rather than refreshed. If you like hearty food and aren't picky, it might be good value. For lighter or better-prepared dishes, it may not suit you. Service was mixed. The staff were generally polite, but one server took payments while looking at her phone and talking at once to a colleague and a customer. That came across as unprofessional. I also found it odd and uncomfortable that all the staff were women serving a mostly male crowd, which gave the place an outdated feel. The buffet gives you plenty of food for an affordable price, but the heavy dishes, atmosphere, and service left a poor impression. I wouldn't return.
