The staff made me feel at home. The senior gentleman at reception, whose name I sadly can’t remember, and the woman who usually serves breakfast were both so friendly and helpful. Talking with the male receptionist felt like chatting with a friend, even with the language barrier. I’m used to Germany, where I live, and it was lovely not to be met with cold faces. The world needs more people like them. My room was sparkling clean. The bathroom floor shone, and the wooden things in there had no mould or stains. Even the stairs were so clean they reminded me of my grandma’s floor. The hotel is old, but very well maintained. I loved that my windows faced both the sun and the moon. The heater warmed the room quickly, and there was a small fridge, though I didn’t use it so can’t comment on it. They provided around six hangers, which was perfect for me. I like ironing my clothes once and hanging them all up for the days ahead. The bed smelled nice, not too strongly, and was comfortable to sleep in. I’ll definitely come back on a personal trip!

The owner is very kind and looks after his guests, whether at breakfast or when you want a drink late at night. The hotel is clean too.

In early summer, the rooms were quiet and cozy. The room and bathroom were very clean, the staff helpful, and breakfast had plenty of options. There are a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues, though there is an elevator. As a solo traveler, I found booking directly through the front desk was much cheaper. I paid 30 extra euros through Priceline, while the desk offered a far better rate.

The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Rooms were clean and well kept. I recommend this hotel if you’re staying with a small child :)

We travelled with an infant and had a wonderful time. The hotel is in a great spot, within walking distance of the station and local taxis. Breakfast was excellent every day, with lots of choices and great staff. Room service was great, too. The staff were very good with children, and the concierge service was excellent. Loris was excellent. Truly a 5 star hotel, well worth staying at!
