Breakfast was excellent, with enough variety to suit all tastes, and there’s plenty of free parking nearby. The family who run this B&B are warm and friendly. It’s in a quiet area away from the center, just a few steps from the funicular and a five-minute walk from the Terme Maggiore thermal baths. The rooms are simply furnished and a little dated, but they have everything you need. The linens and the general atmosphere were immaculate. Highly recommended.

The owner made the place feel special, and was happy to offer suggestions, advice, and even a map if you weren’t sure what to visit. The guesthouse has a lovely atmosphere; our room was cleaned every day and we got fresh towels daily. Breakfast was delicious too. It’s a convenient base for Tuscany, with Pisa, Florence, and Siena nearby. We stayed five days and came away very grateful for the stay.

We stayed a few days in August 2014 and had a really enjoyable visit. The owner was kind and accommodating, the rooms were clean, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was more than enough. It’s easy to get to tourist spots from here, and the quiet park nearby is a nice place to relax. We’ll be back soon.

We stopped here for one night while passing through on our motorcycle. The owners were so welcoming and kind, and our room was very clean with a really comfortable bed. We could leave the motorcycles in the courtyard. Highly recommend!
