I've been in Montecatini terme for three months and have stayed in 15 hotels. This is by far the best one in town. The manager and staff are the kindest, and the hotel has beautiful decorations, a very nice pool, and wonderful meals, all at the best price in town. If you'd rather spend your money on five-star hotels, go ahead. If you want to enjoy your time, come here.

The pool was nice, and breakfast was good, though I missed having fresh orange juice. Staff were very nice too. The lunch and dinner options were interesting and really tasty, but remember to book in advance, that morning or the day before. We had a really nice time there.

Dust everywhere, broken furniture, and stained bed sheets.

The room was a good size and comfortable, and breakfast deserves a star too. The rest made it hard to get any peace or sleep. It's by a busy road, and the guests were very loud day and night. I'm a non-smoker and wanted quiet, but the entrance door was left open, letting smoke into the breakfast area. They say it's a non-smoking hotel, yet people are allowed to smoke on the terrace and in front of the entrance. You can forget opening the window for fresh air, and the air conditioning didn't work. Reception was only in Italian. The person who checked us in spoke English, but was rude and even aggressive. Booking had promised a lot of things that weren't there. Also, the closet smelled bad, as did the extra blanket.
