Montecatini Val di Cecina is a lovely little town, full of history and wonderful people. Torre dei Belforti is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of stay, with an immaculate tower that feels steeped in history but is beautifully decorated and modern. Luca is an incredible host, ready to help with anything you need. The garden and pool are wonderful places to relax, and I’m convinced the tower has the best view in all of Tuscany. Check my pictures for proof. There are lots of stairs, and if you’re driving, bring a small car if you can since the roads to the tower are tight. I can’t recommend this experience enough.

We’ve just come back from a beautiful stay at Torre dei Belforti. Luca was such a warm, welcoming host. Our family loved staying in a piece of history with all the modern comforts. Such a historic, one-of-a-kind vacation.

My husband and I spent a week here on our honeymoon, and it’s easily one of the best things we’ve ever done. Luca, the owner, is wonderfully hospitable. The six-story tower is filled with incredible designer art and furniture, and it’s a perfect place for a longer stay with family, a partner or friends. Love, love, love it!

We stayed in the L’Orielda, a very nice apartment with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We only wish we’d had more time there, but at least we got to meet the very kind, friendly owners. I recommend staying here to enjoy the small town and use it as a base for seeing more of Tuscany.

La Torrent dei Belforti is fantastic. Luca and Emilia are such kind, warm owners, truly the best. I’m putting a full review on TripAdvisor, so have a look there. Great place, full 5 stars.
