We came a long way to stay here, but this experience left me with no desire to return. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The staff were helpful and answered all my questions, but I won't stay here again. It's a small town with very limited public transport and taxis, and the area didn't feel safe for an evening walk. My room was dirty and dated, with old-fashioned decor and a urine smell. It wasn't cleaned properly the next day either. The shower was cramped, with cracked tiles that made me cautious while using it. The whole place felt very dirty and worn, and the walls need painting. The room's small size and stains on the bathroom floor were especially disappointing. The hotel is called four-star, but it didn't feel like a four-star stay to me. Even a two-star rating would be generous. If you're only staying a few nights, you might be able to overlook the decor and dirt, but I couldn't.

The breakfast was good, though dinner was average and the menu limited. The restaurant feels stuck in the 1990s, and the rooms have a gloomy feel with small showers. Everything was clean, but dated. There's no gym, though there is a helipad.

I spent four months here. The service was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The owner knows a lot about Italy and was a great source of information. If you can manage to get up there, the roof helipad has a great view.
