We left early, and the staff showed no sympathy. Thankfully Booking com was shocked by what we reported and refunded our overnight stay. Zero stars from us. The place feels neglected and badly dated, and the final 100 metres of road are dangerous. In a normal car, getting up there is difficult and risks damaging it. The rooms are worn and broken too, and when we mentioned the sagging, creaking bed that rolls you toward each other, a staff member just stuffed a towel behind it. Breakfast is bought by staff at Lidl in the morning, and portions are measured out exactly for each guest. There isn't even an extra sandwich. Staff have screened off part of the breakfast room, where they apparently spend the day napping or playing billiards instead of helping guests or looking after the property. After 18:00 nobody is there, so you're left on your own if something happens. Our room's window faced a shared area, so other guests staying up late disturbed us. Staff smoked beneath the window and the room smelled of smoke. There seemed to be nobody supervising, and staff cars parked by our room woke us when people arrived in the morning. The neighbours' dogs barked all night and made it hard to sleep. The website and booking photos were from before Corona, and the place didn't match what we saw online. There are lots of nicer places to stay.
