Hotel La Rampa

The room we were given was the main problem from the start: tiny, shabby, and with a strong food smell that made us feel awful. We hadn't seen it online before booking, so we had no idea what to expect, but certainly not that. The photos attached show what was called a “balcony with an internal view.” In reality it was completely bricked up, with no airflow, and smelled of food, leaving us feeling we had to run the air conditioning 24/7. We asked to move right away, but were told the hotel was full. The second night was no better. When we then wanted to leave, they said we couldn't. Only on the morning our stay was nearly over did they offer another room, apparently to stop us leaving the night before and having to refund us. It felt like they just wanted us to stay and still pay the penalty. They had promised to return the money for the unused part of the stay the next day, but charged us a penalty instead, even though the problem was clearly their fault. We chose to leave rather than put up with more of this, but the damage had already been done. The owner was so rude and cunning, he should be ashamed. This hotel doesn't know how to treat guests or take their needs into account. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a decent stay.

The sea was so clear that little fish brushed against our feet, and the hotel is right by the beach, with a terrace just outside. We were two couples on our first visit, having found the property online by chance, and were pleasantly surprised by how convenient the location was, just a few meters from the water. It felt family-friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, the linens were changed daily, and breakfast was served at the table on the terrace overlooking the sea, with quality products. The food was excellent too, with generous meat dishes and fresh fish every day. Everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a really lovely stay. Special thanks to Luisa, Mosè, and Flavio, our guardian angels, for being so helpful and making us feel at home. Thank you, we'll definitely come back. Recommended.

The staff's care, cleanliness, service, and ventilation all helped make me feel at home. Mr. Mose' is known for his kindness and professionalism. I recommend Hotel La Rampa, and would return.

The breakfast is the one thing I'd like to see improved. Otherwise, we had such a good week here that we're already thinking of coming back next year. It's a clean hotel with a lovely family atmosphere, practically right on the beach, which made it really convenient. Agnone is a great spot for families, especially with little kids. We had half board and enjoyed the food. Each morning they give you a leaflet with the day's menu so you can pick the dishes you like. Next time we'd choose full board. The value was exceptional, especially since the price included a beach umbrella and loungers.
