The quiet here is a real treat, and the location makes it easy to explore: Civitanova Marche is a 15-20 minute drive away, and Recanati is about half an hour away. There’s private parking on the property, partly covered, which was a big plus. I noticed charging stations for electric cars, though I’d ask to confirm they’re available. We arrived late and the owner still greeted us warmly, showed us to our room, and explained everything we needed. The recently renovated room had a soft mattress, wardrobe, private bathroom, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Guests can also use the kitchen on the bedroom floor, with a kitchenette, fridge, and freezer. Breakfast was a lovely surprise. She asked what we preferred, sweet or savory, and for three mornings there were cured meats and cheeses, fresh bread, pizza, and focaccia. I like sweets, so I also had croissants or cake with fresh homemade jam. Ettore and the wonderful little furball called Nuvola/Luna kept us company at breakfast. My daughter and I couldn’t agree on her name, so we each gave her our own. We also got to know Mia and our favorite cuddler, Musetta, which helped us miss our cat at home a little less. If you’re around Montecosaro, I hope you get to enjoy these beautiful, lifelike landscapes too. Whether you’re just passing through or staying longer, I’d recommend this peaceful place.
