B&B La Madonnina

The family was very friendly, and we felt at ease. The property is well maintained and sits in a beautiful spot on a steep road that runs down from Montefalco into the valley. The pool is lovely and fairly new, and we could store our bicycles in the garage. There are some covered parking spaces, but not enough when the place is full. Otherwise, you can park in the sun, though still within the grounds. Without an e-bike, getting around the area could be difficult. Our room was nice, with air conditioning, shutters, and mosquito nets, and the bathroom was modern and new. We had booked a triple room and wanted to use the third bed for storage, but there wasn't a third bed. There was no fridge or mini-safe either. The bed was a little narrow, probably 1.60 m, and the shower soap dish seemed old. Breakfast had some good options, and the cappuccino was very good. With fewer guests, it's harder for a property to offer a wide selection. The ham and cheese seemed to be supermarket items in packets. We got a croissant only once, and not on the last day even after asking. We were disappointed that the pool area was cordoned off in the evening, so we couldn't even sit and dip our feet in the water. Still, we were very satisfied overall.

Sleep was excellent, and the varied breakfast was another plus. This place is a real gem among olive groves and vineyards, in a great spot for exploring Umbria. Everything was immaculately clean, and there was parking, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a swimming pool, and more. The owners paid close attention to what guests needed and worked hard to make the stay special. Excellent value for money.

The hosts were extremely courteous, attentive, and helpful, and made our stay a wonderful one. The B&B is quiet, carefully maintained, very clean, and surrounded by green olive trees. It also has a lovely pool and covered parking. We'll be back soon.

The owners were fabulous, kind, and attentive. The property itself was gorgeous, and the value for money was unbeatable. I only wish we'd stayed longer than two nights.
