Fonte Sala

Waking up to the view of vineyards under clouds and gentle sunshine made the little issues fade away. We had a wonderful stay, and the hosts were so sweet and kind. For our family of five adults, having an en suite bathroom in every bedroom was a real bonus. The winter heating was ample and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with a gas hob, a large modern oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and toaster. A few things could use attention: some furniture and the pots and pans weren't in great condition, and the moka pot was really gunky. The showers and taps also seemed short on pressure or hot water.

Torre was a lovely place to stay for our trip to Fonte Sala last week. The house was clean, beautiful and comfortable, with gorgeous gardens and plenty of space for six. If you're coming with eight, keep in mind that the last room is a small bed up in the tower roof. The pool was out of service, and we only learned that about 10 days before arrival, but we still had a really nice time. There's a great restaurant and winery within walking distance, and Montefalco is only a few minutes away by car. Highly recommend it for a trip to Umbria.

From our point of view as wedding photographers, this venue is amazing. We loved photographing the wedding here. The views are breathtaking, the light stays perfect all day, and every corner makes a beautiful photo backdrop. The team is kind and easy to work with, so the day feels stress-free for everyone. We had our wedding here and it was so nice. The place is absolutely lovely, and the staff and host felt like family. Just remember, it's an older farmhouse out in the countryside, with no air conditioning, only fans, and low water pressure. There are lots of insects and animals around, but that's normal for a farm. Everything else was perfect.
