Alessandra and Mauro are such gracious hosts, and the traditional rooms are beautiful. It’s a one-of-a-kind place with wonderful staff, and Alessandra’s cooking alone is worth the trip to Italy. We’ve been twice, twenty years apart, and felt just as overjoyed both visits.

The breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from, including homemade pastries, yogurt, scrambled eggs and bacon. We also loved our room, especially the comfortable beds and pillows and the large shower. The hosts were wonderful, and the place has a really interesting history. It’s only a short walk to the walled city. Highly recommend.

The grounds were beautiful, and it was an easy walk into town. The villa has a quirky feel and sits out in rural Umbria. Everything was very clean, though the Wi-Fi only worked well in the lobby.
