A low-cost place for four, with a kitchen that has basic equipment. Breakfast was light. There are two toilets and one shower.

Really great.

We chose the apartment because it sits conveniently between Lake Garda, Venice, and Ferrara, and the pictures on a reputable booking site looked appealing. After just one night, though, we left because it didn’t give us that holiday feeling. The apartment was clean and the bathroom seemed renovated, but inside it felt too dark and was hard to air out. The kitchen and cookware also seemed worn. Those drawbacks weren’t clear from the photos. If you’re mostly out exploring and just want a well-placed base, it could work well. The landlord speaks only Italian, so we relied on translation apps to communicate. It was a little awkward, but we managed to understand each other.
