Agriturismo La Filomena

We felt at home in the apartment, which was warm, welcoming, and renovated with care. The panoramic pool and its hydromassage corner were a peaceful place to unwind, surrounded by the landscape. What made our stay especially memorable was the family running Agriturismo La Filomena. We shared a conversation and a glass of vin cotto in the living room overlooking the view, enjoyed tomatoes picked fresh from the garden, and took in the lavender scent from the plants we cultivated together. Their kindness felt completely genuine. The setting is a great base for exploring the Marche, from Lake Fiastra and the Infernaccio Gorges with the hermitage of San Leonardo to Lake Pilato and the Sibilla Mountains. There are also lovely hill towns nearby, including Amandola, Montemonaco, and Sarnano, as well as Ascoli Piceno, where we enjoyed the delicious Ascoli olives. A little corner of paradise. We'd recommend it wholeheartedly and hope to come back soon.

The people here were very friendly, and we'd highly recommend the place. We spent three days here on a short family break, in an apartment a few meters from the main building and pool, with a breathtaking view of the Sibillini Mountains.

The pool was the standout for us: it's spacious, with whirlpool tubs in several spots, so it was easy to relax. There are other indoor and outdoor areas around the property, and they're well maintained. Filomena's family gave us a genuinely warm welcome, which made our holiday feel special. Our apartment was cool, spacious, and very clean. The location also makes it quick to reach the area's main sights. We'd definitely come back, and highly recommend it.

La Sibilla was just right for our family of four. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved the garden and the view of the Sibillini Mountains. Breakfast and lunch outside, or watching the sunset from a deckchair, were a real treat. We had such a lovely week in this special place, getting a feel for life in the little spread-out village and spending time with Francesco, Rosalba, Letizia, and their parents. They're warm people who take great care with their work and the property. It's also well placed for visiting lots of interesting places. We'll see you again next year!
