The building looks like it went up in the 1970s and has only been maintained now and then. When we arrived, the room was over 35 degrees and the radiators were blasting. I couldn’t turn them off because the controls were rusted, missing or came off when I tried. The room was only partly clean, the door wouldn’t shut when closed, and the whole place felt more like a monk’s cell than a hotel room. Breakfast was basic. The scrambled eggs tasted very strange, and the juice cans were so greasy they went “swoop” when lifted.

The thermal cave bath was really nice. The sauna was tiny and crowded, right in front of the pool where there were lots of kids, so it wasn’t very relaxing. The food was pretty indecent for a 4-star hotel, with low-quality ingredients and odd flavors. The room had new furniture, but very old doors and windows. I was unsatisfied.

The gardens, bonsai and statues make this a lovely place to unwind. There are great pools, skilled health and beauty professionals, and really good food. I left feeling recharged and can't wait to come back.

The thermal pool is a real plus, and there were always enough loungers. The hotel feels like it’s still in the 80s, but it’s very clean, and both the food service and general service are very good. I’ll be back.
