The owner made us feel very welcome, and the hotel was clean and a great value. We also had a really good dinner and a nice breakfast. Some rooms have lovely balcony views. Monteleone di Spoleto is a village along the Cammino di San Benedetto, a route that can hold its own beside the better-known Camino de Santiago.

The views from the balcony helped make up for the slightly small room, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was included and very nice. There’s parking outside, and it’s a lovely place to begin exploring this quiet part of the country.

We came back in 2024 after such a good stay the year before. There were nine of us this time, and everyone enjoyed the rooms and dinner. The dishes were fantastic, and we really appreciated being able to get a second serving of the main courses. The previous year, our group of 13 was walking the Way of St. Benedict, and we had a great time then too. Dinner was fantastic on that visit as well.

The landlady was so friendly, and the drinks were fairly priced. It’s in a great spot overlooking the old town, with very good value for pilgrims. I’d definitely stay here again!
