B&B Fontebella

The hosts were wonderful. They even drove us to a local restaurant and took us to the airport to drop off our rental car. The bedrooms are airy and furnished beautifully, and breakfast is a delicious spread of cakes, bread, ham, cheese, eggs, and fruit. You’ll need a car to get around, but this peaceful place in the rolling fields, with its own pool, is a real hidden gem about 15 minutes from Ancona airport. We really couldn’t fault it and are so glad we found it.

The B&B has a pool and a lovely elevated view. The owner has a good heart, and her hospitality keeps getting better.

The pool is a highlight, with comfortable loungers and umbrellas, though it felt too crowded. This charming B&B is surrounded by greenery not far from Senigallia. The rooms were clean and had air-conditioning and mosquito nets on the windows. Finding the place wasn’t easy. GPS took us to a different entrance that wasn’t connected to the building, and the directions we got during booking weren’t adequate. We paid as soon as we arrived, before seeing the room, and nobody mentioned that Enel might cut the power from 5:30 AM to 12:30 PM the next morning. Luckily, the outage hadn’t started by the time we left at 8:00 AM, so it didn’t affect our stay. Since we had booked just the day before, we would have preferred an earlier warning in case it did.
