Lake Gerosa is close by, peaceful, beautiful, and good for swimming. There are also a small store and a fresh fruit and vegetable stand in town, plus plenty of cute nearby towns for gelato or drinks. I was travelling alone as a woman and felt comfortable and welcome here. Stefania and her dad were warm and kind, and gave me lots of useful ideas for places to see around Monte Sibillini. My queen room had a private bathroom, and the comfortable bed was just what I needed after hiking and exploring. There was always good coffee in the morning. This was one of my favorite stays in Italy, and I highly recommend it. Thanks to Stefania and her dad for making my trip memorable!

From the garden, the view was beautiful, and the place had a simple, intimate feel. Our room at La Colombella had everything we needed, and its location made it easy to walk to both the town center and restaurants on the outskirts. The owner was welcoming from the start, shared useful information for our trip, and was even willing to extend our stay. She’s friendly, approachable, and makes guests feel at home. The breakfast, for those who need it, and the price were both excellent. We came for a short three-day mountain break and would love to return soon. Thank you, Stefania and Quinto! ♥️

After long hikes, it was great to have a comfortable, clean place to rest. I spent a weekend here trekking, and the town has all the amenities you need. Stefania was so kind, and her father Quinto gave invaluable hiking tips. They made me feel like part of the family. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

The restaurant serves authentic local ingredients, cooked really well, and the prices are reasonable, including half-board. The owner is welcoming and kind, and makes you feel at home. The hotel itself is very basic, with a TV and en-suite bathroom, but there’s no shower curtain.
