We stumbled on this beautiful hotel by chance while on vacation with my husband, and what a surprise. Nicola and his team were incredible and took care of our needs so well. The dining area has a view that looks straight out of a movie. The private beach was quiet, clean, and lovely, and the surrounding area is gorgeous. It’s easy to reach a walking promenade, other beaches, and some restaurants. Highly recommend.

I just realized I never left a review while thinking about booking another stay at Hotel Strand. My husband and I have already been twice, and we’re about to make it three. It’s a lovely beachfront hotel, clean and comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff and traditional food. Just right for a chance to rest and recharge, or as a base for traveling around.

We only stopped for one night in September 2015, but it was a lovely surprise to be welcomed in Danish so far from Denmark! The young owner was very nice and half Danish, and he knew a few words. His father, the co-owner, is Italian and spoke Danish fluently. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking the sea, and the food was excellent and delicious. Neither the room nor the food was expensive.

The hotel’s a bit old, but it’s fine. Dinner was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even had a spot inside for my bike.
