Agriturismo San Gallo

We loved the quiet and peaceful setting, with Montepulciano on the hilltop right in view when we woke up. The hosts were wonderful, and our room had the Italian feel we wanted for Tuscany. There's no food served at the property, but several places to eat nearby. Our cute little cabinet opened into a mini kitchen, and there was a washing machine on site that came in handy halfway through our trip. The property was impeccable. They also have a wine shop and offer a tour or wine tasting if you're interested. I was so happy with the choice, and even loved the Italian shampoo they provided so much that I bought it after getting home.

The two of us loved this peaceful agriturismo. We booked the largest suite, with a small kitchen that we used to make quite a few meals, and the bed was very comfortable. They make their own wine and olive oil under the Bertille label.

You'll need a car to get around, but Montepulciano town is only a short drive away. We loved the vineyards and scenery, and the pool was clean and well cared for. Our self-catering apartment was charming, clean, and beautifully presented. The hosts gave us great restaurant recommendations and even left a bottle of wine as a lovely honeymoon gesture. We'd highly recommend San Gallo Farmhouse to anyone visiting Tuscany.

The mountain setting gives you a breathtaking 360-degree view, and each morning felt dreamy. The sunsets stayed with us, too. We found the place incredibly peaceful, and our host was warm, attentive, and thoughtful from the moment we arrived. It felt like being at home. This was a beautiful, genuinely welcoming experience, and we can't wait to return.
