B&B Al Vecchio Forno

The place Georgio has is lovely, about 1 km from the walled town of Montepulciano. It's decorated with great taste, and they seem to have thought of everything guests might need. There's free, secure parking off the street. Highly recommend!

We arrived in November on a cold, rainy day, and the heated floors made the bnb feel so welcoming. The host was friendly and helped us figure out train times and destinations, and she gave us a great breakfast. After staying in so many places during our three months in Europe, it was lovely to find somewhere so accommodating and helpful. It became a highlight of our trip. The bnb was very clean and had a cozy, hygge feel. I highly recommend staying here.

What made this old bakery special was how much there was to enjoy, from the house and apartment to the outbuildings and garden. The whole property is splendid, with quality materials, tasteful furnishings and utensils, a carefully maintained garden, and a lovely view. It's also an easy walk to the historic center. The owners were kind and helpful, and Rosita the gorgeous cat came by to visit and cuddle. Her relationships with other cats are notoriously difficult, but she still made me fall in love with felines. I'd definitely visit again.
