B&B Villa San Bartolomeo

The views and gardens were amazing, and we really enjoyed the rooms and breakfasts. Staff were friendly and helpful, and thanks for arranging our local taxis. We'd definitely stay again.

Beautiful setting, just 3 minutes outside Montepulciano. The rooms, breakfast, and pool were great, and it's a romantic spot.

The morning view from Junior Suite No. 6 takes in the Montepulciano hills and the agriturismo’s well-kept garden. Our room was cleaned and tidied daily, and had both a whirlpool tub and a shower, plus a coffee and tea machine and a minibar. Breakfast upstairs was more than satisfying for an agriturismo, served around one big table with the other guests. The pool was closed during our late October visit, so I can’t comment on it, though its surrounding plants and shrubs should keep it from disturbing people relaxing in the garden. Highly recommended for couples.

Junior Suite 6 was such a distinctive, lovely room, with old vaulted ceilings and modern touches like the whirlpool tub. Best of all, you can see Montepulciano from the bed. The hosts were very friendly, and breakfast had plenty of charm in the family-run country house setting, as well as being very good. One of the nicest places we stayed on our trip through Italy, maybe the nicest. A lovely spot for a short, relaxing break.
