The pools at the spa were the one good part, and the restaurant food was great. The pool water was only warm, though, and there wasn’t a hot-water jacuzzi. The staff in general felt a little cold. The room wasn’t worth it. The bed, pillows, and covers were terrible quality and extremely uncomfortable, and we couldn’t sleep during either of our two nights. The shower was very small and uncomfortable to use, and it didn’t get warm enough.

The room was decent, and the spa was really nice. It’s a good base for exploring the Tuscan countryside. Our room was a bit of a walk from the spa and restaurant, and Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby, not in the rooms.

The hotel is immaculate, with a gorgeous pool and terrific restaurants. The staff let it down, though. The service wasn’t up to par, and it was often impossible to find someone who could help us find what we needed. I’d stay again if the service improved.

The property is lovely and the staff were very courteous. We found the spa comfortable, though the pool and bath water felt a bit cold. The food was the real letdown: over three dinners it was poor, and when we complained about the dishes being reheated, nothing was done to address it.

For a 200 euro price, I expected more. The room bed was uncomfortable, with plastic under the sheets like you'd use for a baby or an elderly person. The spa is small and crowded with outside guests. Montepulciano deserves a better hotel to look out over it.
