The house is clean and well maintained, and the pool is nice. There aren't many amenities, but there are enough. The rooms work fine, though they don't feel very cozy. I'm not sure this really qualifies as an 'agriturismo'. The idea seems to have become diluted in Tuscany. It's a decent b'n'b in the countryside, but being out in the country alone doesn't seem like enough to make it an agriturismo.

The water in the sink and shower turned salty on our second morning, so washing was impossible, and the soap wouldn't lather in it. Wi-Fi also costs extra, even though there's no phone service at the property. I can't see how the room I was given could be considered habitable: the bed is on a mezzanine with only about 1.6 m of headroom, and reinforcing beams make the space awkward and cramped. If the person running the B&B doesn't know how to use the water softener, they should learn to set it before charging people for a stay.

The one downside was how clearly we could hear the road behind the property. Otherwise, it's a lovely place to stay, with a beautiful garden, a great swimming pool, and a shared outdoor kitchen for barbecuing. Andrea was very friendly and hospitable, and helped us a lot when we had car trouble. It's a peaceful base for visiting Montepulciano and nearby villages like Pienza. Definitely recommended!

We had a lot of fun every day sharing the vacation with our best friends. We brought a small beach tennis net and played with the girls, and Roberto, the owner, joined in a little. The pool is gorgeous and spotless. It only holds 8-10 guests, so it's never crowded, and on some days we had it to ourselves. We did plenty of drinking, and one evening we grilled meat, with Roberto lighting the fire. Beautiful Agriturismo. We'll come back as soon as we can.
