I’m sorry I only booked two days here. It was one of my best stays, and the family managing the place were so friendly and hospitable. The room was large and roomy, with vineyards and olive trees all around. The sunrise from the property was beautiful, and it’s 15 minutes from the Montepulicano station. Thanks for making our stay so amazing. I’d love to come back, and I recommend everyone stay here when in Tuscany.

I loved my one-night stay at Podere Fontecastello during the first week of December. It’s a peaceful, beautiful Tuscan farmhouse, just outside the city walls, and an easy 5-10 min walk to Montepulciano. The bus station is close too. The hosts were exceptionally kind and accommodating, even offering me a ride to the bus. The host and her grandmother made me feel at home. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and a cozy style. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, and breakfast was delicious and much more generous than I expected. I’d love to return in spring or summer to enjoy the pool and grounds in warmer weather. Highly recommend for a cozy, authentic stay in a handy location.

At Agriturismo Fontecastello, a classic Tuscan farmhouse, you wake to vineyard views and the sound of your existential crisis whispering, ‘Maybe I should quit my job and move here.’ The rustic apartments have charm, the homemade wine is dangerously good, and the hosts are so welcoming you might forget you’re a guest. It’s a perfect place to relax, explore Montepulciano, or pretend you’re in a romantic Italian film. Just be warned, after fresh eggs and wine straight from the farm, leaving might be hard.

Quiet and close to town, but with a countryside feel. We enjoyed staying at this wonderful place, where the service came with smiling faces. Thanks for hosting us. We had a great stay.
