Stelle di Monte

The room was unbelievably beautiful, and breakfast outside was a highlight, with incredible local products and such good service. From the first moment, everything felt perfect. We arrived to a breathtaking Tuscan view, got a little tour of the property, and were offered a glass of wine. It really felt like living in a romantic movie, and I could go on about all the thoughtful details. Igor’s dinner was amazing. Thank you, Igor and Natalie, and an extra thank you to Jana, who handled every detail with such care and joy. She was wonderful and so funny. What they have created is hard to describe. Like many other guests say, staying here was the highlight of our whole trip to Italy. This place is a love letter to Tuscany.

Jana was so sweet and kind, and it was a pleasure getting to know her during our stay. We also had our best meal in Italy, cooked by Igor. Nathalie and Igor have clearly put so much love into Stelle di Monte, and you can feel it all over the gorgeous grounds and incredible rooms. The place took our breath away when we arrived, and it was by far the best part of our Italy trip. We can't wait to return and stay longer, so don't think twice about booking!

Our four nights in the Sogno Toscano room in October 2025 were the highlight of the trip. Each morning we enjoyed breakfast with a breathtaking view, especially the delicious local homemade olive oil. The Grotto style room felt intimate and comfortable, clearly created with a lot of thought and effort. From the private terrace, we could see Montepulciano, and it was a lovely place to relax with a drink into the night. Igor & Nathalie and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We booked dinner one evening and were glad we did. It was refreshing to enjoy a fine-dining style meal for a change of pace. The location is great too. We enjoyed the scenic walk up to Montepulciano, and having a car made it easy to visit nearby Pienza and the beautiful hot spring in Bagni San Filippo. The drive was very easy. The breakfast was lovely, with fresh fruit from the gardens and homemade cakes, and the room felt cozy. Igor and Nathalie welcomed us with local wine and took time to tell us about the building’s history. We’ve wanted to stay here since it first opened, and those views over Montepulciano are breathtaking. Such a magical little boutique hotel. We can’t wait to come back!
