Villa Svetoni Wine Resort

The tour and wine and pizza tasting were so much fun. We sampled several delicious wines, then had four big slices of pizza each and tiramisu from the attached Osmosi restaurant. Everything was great, and they kindly packed up the pizza we couldn’t finish. It kept us going on a long train ride the next day. I’d definitely recommend coming here.

Marilena made our stay especially memorable. She welcomed us so warmly, arranged a wonderful wine tour with the estate and regional history, and led a thoughtful, enjoyable tasting. We loved the Nobile wines so much that we bought a case to ship home, and fell for the estate’s signature scent made from its own wine production. Everyone at reception was kind and made us feel cared for. The hospitality stood out compared with our other stays in Tuscany. We were celebrating our honeymoon, and Villa Svetoni was a wonderful setting for it. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and carefully maintained. Our suite was spotless, cozy, and comfortable, and housekeeping kept it pristine and stocked throughout our visit. Breakfast was excellent, with delicious food and friendly, attentive staff. We didn’t get to try the Michelin-rated restaurant, though we’re sure it would be an incredible experience. The massages included in our honeymoon package were among the best either of us has had. The masseur and masseuse were gentle and methodical, with calming, positive energy. We’d had a rough start to the honeymoon when our luggage was lost, and the massages helped melt away the stress and set us up for a lovely stay. We wished we could have stayed longer and can’t recommend Villa Svetoni highly enough.

We spent three nights here and really enjoyed the onsite wine tour and tasting. The pool area was lovely, and everything had been newly refurbished to a high standard. Great location too, about 10 minutes from Montepulciano.

The staff were so kind and consistently went above and beyond. They even let me buy a bathrobe and packed us lunch for the trip home. The wine tour and tasting were a lot of fun and really informative. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, with great amenities and a lovely pool. Set in one of the prettiest parts of Tuscany. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
