The advice from our host Cesare and his lovely mother made our second Cinque Terre trip especially good. Their tips on dining and sightseeing led us to places and experiences we hadn’t found before. We had a really positive stay at Affittacamere Da Cesare, so much so that it made us want to move to Monterosso. We rented two spacious rooms by European standards, one on the second floor and one on the third. The top-floor room didn’t have a window, but it did have a skylight. The place sits in the middle of Monterosso’s historic center, far enough from the main strip that noise wasn’t an issue. We also felt safe, with the police station next door. Fantastic experience, highly recommend staying here.

Being close to both the train and the beach made everything easy to get to. This family-run B&B has been passed down through generations, and it felt really homey. The food and company were lovely, and it’s a much better deal if you’re keeping travel costs light. Of all the places we stayed, this was our favourite by far. Thanks for such a lovely stay, and definitely include it in your Cinque Terre visit.

The room was cleaned every day, and the air conditioning was already on, so it was cool and fresh when we got back. The place felt cozy and was close to the beach, while still far enough from the crowds and noise. Our host Cezar was fantastic, extremely friendly, spoke English very well, and shared useful ideas for things to do in Cinque Terre. His mother made a delicious breakfast. Wow, I’d highly recommend this place.

The beach, train station, and central part of Monterosso are all close by. Cesare and his mother made us feel very welcome with their warmth and kindness. We hope we can return, and absolutely recommend staying here.

His mother made the most delicious apple pie for breakfast, and they even sent us off with lemons from their garden! Cesar also shared great suggestions for places to see around town and nearby. The hotel felt like staying at a relative’s house, and we learned a lot about local culture and everyday life in town.
