Raffaella and Jon were amazing hosts, really accommodating and great to chat with. The other staff member was lovely too, and the whole team made us feel welcome. Our room’s balcony was a highlight, so ask for one when booking. Breakfast was worth it, and L’Antica Terrazza is a great base in Monterosso’s old fishing village, surrounded by good restaurants and well placed for exploring Cinque Terre. The room was small, with a queen bed and only a few feet on either side, and the AC was weak. Still, we’d definitely recommend staying here.

The location is hard to beat, near the church and close to everything in the old town. My room was small but cute, with a sweet little balcony where I could have breakfast or an evening glass of wine. There was also a small fridge. The hostess was wonderful and even provided a beach towel and umbrella.

We had a lovely balcony where we could eat dinner with wine and look down at all the crowds and bustle. The Old Town spot was quiet and clean, and the couple running it were super friendly. Food from the restaurant below was great as takeaway. Try the Pesto Lasagne €13 and vegetables €5, and the friendly owner brings the tray upstairs. The pillows were pretty pathetic, and while the sheets were clean, they weren’t especially soft. Still, it was a great little place to stay.

The top-floor terrace was a perfect spot for morning coffee or a late drink, and the location made it easy to reach restaurants, shops, and the train. Raffaella and Jon were wonderful hosts and easy to reach. When we had a medical emergency, they arranged an ambulance for us. The B&B was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well cared for, with great rooms. I highly recommend it and would go back as soon as I can.
