L'Ancora B&B

I stayed here with my dog two years ago and have just come back. The owner is always so polite and kind. The rooms are very clean and well kept, and although two rooms share a bathroom, it's very clean too. Lovely sea view, and breakfast is at a nearby bar with very nice service. I give every review a slight five. Best wishes, Monika.

I was there the first week of December and found the B&B cozy and exceptionally well looked after. The owner was very friendly and kind. My room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, especially the wild berry croissants. There was a coffee machine and a selection of herbal teas. It's only steps from the sea, with a breathtaking view.

I was cycling around Italy to promote a more eco-friendly lifestyle and arrange events with schools and municipalities, including charity events. After missing a train in Gargano last week, I contacted the owner right away to say I'd reach the station around 10:00 PM. I had booked through Booking.com. She kept repeating that check-in was listed as 7:00 PM. When I asked to cancel without a penalty, she said she was afraid of the dark and couldn't give me the keys at 10:00 PM, and wouldn't waive the charge. She kept my money without renting me the room. The saddest part is that I told her immediately, so the room couldn't be offered to other guests. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommend this place. I've never met anyone so inflexible or unsympathetic about a problem that wasn't my fault, just a missed train. Sandro Bucalo.

I spent Easter weekend at Cristina's B&B and found the room spotless, the bathroom just as clean, and breakfast plentiful. The owner was warm, kind, and charming, a rare lady. Recommended, and next time I'm in Pescara I'll stay here again.
