Nicola made us feel welcome right from the start. He was always around to help, gave us some brilliant recommendations, and even brought over homemade cakes on our first day. Some of those restaurants were among the best we’ve been to. The apartments have a lovely rustic Tuscan look and everything we needed. There’s lots of room outside, with a dining area for each apartment, and the pool area is great. Our room was beautifully done, with wonderful views over the Tuscan hills. Five stars all round. We’ll definitely stay again!

We love it here and plan to return every spring. The big pool sparkles, the gardens are gorgeous and well kept, the beds are comfortable, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. This was our second visit to Podere Le Rondini, for both business and pleasure. Nicola Carafa and his family make you feel welcome and looked after. The compound is charming, tastefully designed, and impeccably clean. Nicola goes out of his way to make guests comfortable, whether that means translating, offering suggestions, arranging a car or a reservation, or bringing extra pillows. His English is superb, and he has a generous, intelligent spirit. There are plenty of lovely places to stay in the area, but I can’t recommend this one enough for the accommodation, Nicola, and his delightful family.

What made our Christmas stay special was Nicola, our host. He speaks perfect English and handled every request with Florentine charm and efficiency. We had taxi drivers who became friends, and Allessandro made our Christmas dinner. We were so well looked after. Our family of 16, ranging in age from 4 to 76, stayed at Podere Le Rondini near Florence in the Tuscan countryside. The villa was charming, clean, and comfortable. It’s a perfect vacation destination.

Nicola was kind and full of useful advice about what to eat and visit in Tuscany. His English is very good. The property is pleasant, well maintained, and has private parking. You can also arrange a chef or catering service for dinner there. We had a great stay.

A comfortable, welcoming place to unwind among the Tuscan vineyards. The interiors feel luxurious without losing their vintage character. Ask Nicola about activities, as they may be able to arrange a winery tour. Recommended if you want to enjoy the countryside and get away from city noise.
